Privacy policy
JSON-Utils is built so that privacy is a property of the architecture, not a promise. Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. The JSON, tokens, and text you paste are processed in memory in your tab and are never uploaded to our servers, logged, or shared.
What we do not collect
We do not collect the content you paste into tools. There are no accounts, no sign ups, and no cookies used to track you across sites. We do not run analytics on tool payloads.
The API client exception
The API Client sends requests directly from your browser to the URL you enter. Those requests go to that third party server under its own privacy policy. They never pass through json-utils.com, and we cannot see them.
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request metadata such as IP address and user agent to deliver pages and prevent abuse. This metadata never includes anything you paste into a tool, because tool input is never transmitted.
Local storage
Your theme preference (system, light, or dark) is stored in your browser local storage so the site remembers it. That is the only preference stored, and it never leaves your device.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a revised date. Last updated: November 2026.
