JSON Repair

Real world JSON is often almost JSON: a trailing comma, single quotes, a comment, or a missing closing brace. This tool applies careful, listed repairs and shows you exactly what it changed. If the input still cannot be parsed after repairs, it tells you instead of guessing silently.

Frequently asked questions

What can it fix?

Trailing commas, single quoted strings, JavaScript style comments, unquoted identifier keys, and missing closing brackets or braces.

Is repair guaranteed?

No. Repair is a best effort for common mistakes. The result is always re-parsed; if it is still invalid you get the parse error, never a fake success.
